Deep Dive

TUDOR is a Swiss-made watch brand, offering mechanical watches with sophisticated style and proven reliability. The origins of TUDOR date back to 1926, when “The TUDOR” was first registered as a brand on behalf of Rolex founder, Hans Wilsdorf. Throughout their history, TUDOR watches have been chosen by the boldest adventurers and seasoned professionals alike.

The traditional art of hand craftsmanship

A TUDOR watch lives. Pulsates. It will take you into the world of micro-precision. The high technology in all components is relentlessly tested to the smallest detail… to the point of obsession. Examine the movement. Aesthetics and performance for the most demanding of products, designed for endurance as much as pleasure. Pleasing to the eye and exciting to the mind, this precision mechanism will withstand the rigours of time. Exceptional materials, durability and strength of design make each watch a unique object.

The Pelagos 39 model joins the TUDOR family of technical divers' watches, with a versatile, complementary design. This variation of the Pelagos collection is a compact and versatile, traditional mechanical divers' watch, with a touch of elegance created by the shine of the sunray satin finishes on its dial and the insert on the bezel.

The aesthetic balance of the Pelagos 39 is achieved through an entirely satin-brushed case, which artfully contrasts with the radiance of its black ceramic bezel insert. The diameter of its bezel slightly exceeds the middle case for maximum grip. The applied hour markers on the dial are made of monobloc luminescent ceramic composite and the name Pelagos stands out in glossy cherry red at 6 o'clock, disrupting the model’s two-tone colour palette.

About The Brand

TUDOR watches

The TUDOR signature is #BornToDare, reflecting both the brand history and what it stands for today. Created by the founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf, the TUDOR Watch Company was born with a mission to explore new territories, offering “a watch that agents could sell at a more modest price than Rolex watches, and yet could attain standards of dependability”. Today, the collection of the award-winning Swiss-made watch brand currently includes flagship lines such as Black Bay, Pelagos, Glamour and TUDOR 1926, many of which are equipped with exclusive mechanical manufacture calibres.
